Get Involved

Every bit of help makes a real difference. There's no minimum commitment.

Get in touch

Everyone is Welcome

You don't need any experience, a specific skill set, or bags of spare time. Whether you can help once a year or once a week, there is a place for you in our PTA.

We're a friendly group and we make it easy to get involved at whatever level suits your life. No pressure, no obligations. Just a chance to do something good for the children at Ysgol Glan Morfa.

Why Get Involved?

  • Make a real difference to children's lives
  • Meet other parents and carers
  • Have fun and be part of something positive
  • Help shape what the PTA does

Ways to Help

There are lots of ways to get involved. Pick whatever suits you.

Events

Help set up, run a stall, sell tickets or tidy up at our events. Every pair of hands counts.

Finding Donors

Know a local business? Help us find sponsors, raffle prizes, vouchers or other contributions for our events.

Leading an Activity

Got a skill you'd love to share? Lead a workshop, class activity or after-school session for children or parents.

Class Rep

Be the link between your child's class and the PTA. Share updates and gather feedback from other parents.

Design and Photography

Can you design a poster or take photos at events? These skills make a real difference.

Spreading the Word

Talk to other parents at the school gate, tell them what we do and encourage them to come along to events.

How Much Time Do You Have?

You decide how involved you want to be. There's no wrong answer.

One-off Help

Give a few hours for a specific event. No regular commitment needed at all.

Now and Then

Help out at some events across the year when it suits you. A few times a term is plenty.

Regular Role

Take on a named role like class rep or committee member and be part of the core team.

Ready to Help?

We'd love to hear from you. There's no form to fill in and no commitment required. Just get in touch and we'll have a chat about what might suit you.

  • Talk to a committee member

Catch one of us at the school gate and say hello. We're always happy to chat.

  • Speak to Mrs Mullane at school

Pop in and ask for Mrs Mullane and she can point you in the right direction.
